Sent by the Swedish missionary organization Örebro Mission
Missionary G. Clemenson came to Japan.
Missionary work began in Nakada, Tarumi Ward, and the "Tarumi Gospel Church" was founded. (1966)
Later, the "Minami-Tamondai Mission Station" was opened in Minami-Tamondai as one of the bases for children's evangelism.
Jun Yoshikawa and Yoko Kuraku, who were members of Tarumi Gospel Church, got married after graduating from seminary.
He was dispatched to the Minami-Tamondai Mission Station, where the "Tamon Gospel Church" was founded. (1980)
In 1981, with the cooperation of Christian architect Kameo Takada and the help of a small number of church members, the church building was constructed.

Kikkawa Jun
Born on May 10, 1953. Originally from Misato Town, Shimane Prefecture.
I got a job at Fujitsu Limited and moved to Kobe. My boss invited me to church, which led me to believe in Jesus and simultaneously give me a sense of devotion.
I quit my job and enrolled in Kansai Bible Seminary. After graduating, I founded Tamon Gospel Church.
Probation officer (until 2018), Kobe City Welfare Commissioner (Chief Child Welfare Commissioner),
Elementary school council member, worship services at welfare facilities, etc.
Serving the community through various community activities and committee roles.
A pastor who loves interacting with people and children! His hobby is carpentry.
She's a playful teacher who helps everyone around her relax.

Associate pastor
Dai Kikkawa Kikkawa Dai
Born on July 6, 1982. The eldest son of Jun Yoshikawa.
After graduating from the Faculty of Theology at Kwansei Gakuin University, I got a job at a company in Kyoto.
I was called by the scripture, "The harvest will be plentiful, but the laborers will be few."
I enrolled in Kansai Bible Institute (KBI) in 2008 and graduated in 2011.
I have a wife, one daughter, and four sons, making us a family of seven.
I'm always on the lookout for something interesting to do, and I'm always plotting something.


Youth Preacher
Asaki Yanagimoto Yanamoto Asaki
Born on July 16, 1995. Has been attending Tamon Gospel Church since infancy.
After graduating from Doshisha University, I tried to go on to graduate school, but failed the entrance exam.
While participating in a 3-week course at Kansai Bible Institute (KBI),
I realized what I truly wanted to learn and enrolled in the undergraduate course. I graduated in 2023.
In 2024, I married a Korean man who grew up in Japan.
I serve at Tamon Gospel Church together with my husband.
I work part-time at a construction company and I'm interested in interior design and home building!
I enjoy making things in general, and I love Korean dramas.

Dai Kikkawa Kikkawa Dai
